Hi Joshua,

The MySQL slowness issue should be resolved. We've put in a a lot more hardware to help with the issue.

Hi Scott,

Welcome aboard! Yep, we have real people working here at FatCow and I'm just one of many. Support should always be your first line of contact regarding technical issues with your site as I know just enough to get into trouble. Thanks again for the business.

Greetings Eric,

Wow! A real person, with a real name, a real picture, and even a real contact address!! And what more, a real chance that somebody 'real' will read and respond if I take the time to write, and not just chew cud out in the back 40!

I've just mooooved over a client with the firm belief that FatCow would be a whole new - fun but professional - experience. We've run into a few reverse 'Texas gates', as our support console will attest, but we have hight hopes for nothing but green pastures ahead.

Looking forward to keeping in touch...

Hey there,

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree with you on the drag and drop. In fact, we are designing a way to make that happen but it could be a few months before it happens. I'm not 100% sure on the zip extract functionality but am looking into it.

I have another website hosted by <competitor>. Their cpanel allows drag and drop of the sections just like wordpress dashboard, and their Filemanager allows file drag and drop as well. Moreover, they can extract zipped files directly using the filemanager. The filemanager and the 'updated phpmyadmin' are the reasons that I am still using <competitor>. If possible, I really wish FatCow can integrate these to the cpanel.

No. The MySQL management interface is separate from the actual server performance. We are in the process of beefing up the MySQL services pool to resolve the slowness problem that some of our customers are receiving. That issue should be resolved shortly.
